2010 年, 南非青年組織 MylifE 向曼德拉講解有關「生態村Eco-Village」和「治療之地healing land」的計劃。 這些青年本來都是街童。在MylifE的協助下得到健康發展。
今年, 這個由一班南非年青人一手一腳建立的 Eco-Village 項目已踏入第三年, 這個項目將持續發展下去。

The Eco Village Project will have sustainable living as its core focus and will provide training and skills development in the areas of Green Building (Housing/Shelter), Food Production (Permaculture principles), Alternative Energy Technologies, Water Sanitation, Waste Management and Environmental Consciousness. This will be done through hands on, practical learning and experience, in a real life sustainable community.
The community will be built by youth, sustained by youth and the outcome of the Village 北美青年組織 MylifE 與曼德拉先生會面 MylifE Youth Meet Up with Mr.Nelson Mandelaproject is to create a model that can be replicated.
